We had a great Halloween weekend at UMCH! The fun started out with a staff competition to see who could carve the best pumpkin.
Then on Saturday night, the entire UMCH community came together for a fall festival. About 40 volunteers from BridgePointe Church in Woodstock. This youth group was amazing – they helped with anything and everything we needed!
We had a haunted house, face painting, mini-golf, a castle moonwalk and all sorts of fun games – including Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin, Pumpkin Bowling, Duck Prize game, Cake Walk, Bean Bag Toss, Pumpkin Stack game, Baseball Radar Pitch and Basketball Shootout. We also had stations to paint pumpkins, make Halloween masks and decorate Halloween bags.
And what would a Halloween party be without hot dogs, freshly popped popcorn, chips and brownies? And, of course, tons and tons of candy!
It was a wonderful time for our whole community to enjoy each other’s company and just have fun!
We hope your Halloween was as fun as ours!
