The Children’s Home will be offering training on Equine Therapy on Monday, April 4 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. This will be an insightful training – featuring live horses – that will teach you how to use horses in an academic, therapeutic and recreational capacity. The trainer, Denise Chase, is a successful horse farm owner, trainer and teacher. The training will also feature a young lady from Denise Chase’s farm who has overcome an eating disorder with the help of equine therapy.
This training will take place on our campus here in Decatur, and horses will be at the training. The cost to the public is $30 a person. RSVP to Sarah Ziegler, or call 404.327.5848 with any questions.
