The Children’s Home Recognizes 2017 National Adoption Month
November is National Adoption Month, an initiative of the Children’s Bureau that has a goal to increase awareness and bring attention to the need for permanent families for children and youth in the U.S. foster care system. The United Methodist Children’s Home (UMCH) recognizes National Adoption Month. We also appreciate and honor our UMCH foster parents who adopted children from foster care who were placed in their homes. As of November 16th, 17 children in foster care have been lovingly adopted by UMCH foster parents. And we anticipate more adoptions throughout the end of this year!
Won’t you consider fostering? We invite you to attend an upcoming Foster Care Informational Meeting to learn more about fostering. Registration is required at fosterRSVP.com.
